The Details
Choose between a discounted 12-month agreement and a higher-rate rolling monthly arrangement. Rolling monthly services can be cancelled with 14 days' written notice. Fixed-term services are reviewed before renewal to ensure the package continues to meet your organisation's needs.
Onboarding normally begins within five working days of the agreement being signed, including confirming the main contact, collecting existing documentation and agreeing initial priorities. The first inspection or site visit is normally scheduled within ten working days, subject to location, availability and urgency.
We do not provide arbitrary quantities of templates or generic documents. Your service concentrates on the policies, risk controls, working arrangements and priorities that your organisation genuinely needs.
Your proposal sets out the included services, planned visits, responsibilities and response arrangements. Any substantial work outside the agreed scope will be discussed and quoted before it is carried out. Retained clients receive preferential hourly or daily rates for additional services.
Mileage is included for scheduled package visits within 20 miles of our Bulkington base. Additional mileage, subsistence, travel costs and accommodation outside this area will be agreed and quoted in advance. Routine visits are booked at mutually convenient times.
Contractor management support can include competence checks, insurance and certification reviews, contractor questionnaires, induction arrangements, RAMS reviews, permit-to-work processes and performance monitoring. Our RAMS review provides professional feedback on whether the submitted arrangements appear suitable for the planned activities and known site conditions. The contractor remains responsible for planning, managing and carrying out its work safely, a RAMS review does not transfer the contractor's legal duties to Essential Safety Management or the client.
Common Questions
The appropriate package will depend on your organisation's size, sector, risk profile, locations, existing arrangements and level of internal health and safety resource. We will discuss these factors during the initial consultation and recommend the most suitable level of support.
